The Digital Coalition is a national initiative initiated by the European Commission as part of the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition policy. Its mission is to improve digital skills in Slovakia. The organisation was established in 2017 on the initiative of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Investment and Informatisation and the IT Association of Slovakia. DK currently has more than 120 members – key stakeholders in the field of education and ICT in Slovakia. Members join the Digital Coalition voluntarily and free of charge by signing up to the Digital Coalition Members Memorandum, at the same time as declaring to carry out activities and professional contributions that support the enhancement of digital skills in society.
DK representatives will also present the Digital Advisor project, which lends a helping hand to all employees who want to keep up with the changes in the labour market in the era of digitalisation and artificial intelligence. As part of the project, employees from any industry can test their working potential free of charge with globally proven diagnostic tests and also benefit from theindividual support of a career coach, with whom they can steer their career in the right direction – whether in their current or new workplace.
